This hides its 15.5 very well. Nose has blackberry fruit and cracked black peppercorn in equal measure. In the mouth it’s expansive, with excellent concentration and a rich texture that hides the soft tannin very well. Long, pure finish. Nicely done.

Apr 17th, 2021Local grapes compose this CoCoCo Zinfandel! It is slightly jammy, with red currant and raspberry fruits up front. The body is rich without being too syrupy. There is a generous amount of residual sugar, allowing it to complement spicy Asian cuisine. There is a splash of peppery chocolate to the finish.

Oct 5th, 2019I’m a fan of Matt Parish and try as many wines of his as I can. However I would rate this a medium Zin because it’s fruit forward but seems to lack a extra flavors such as pepper, spice and earth tones.
