Dark, musty berries on the nose that signal a deeper red but take a taste and it feels smoother. Still a darker red that seems typical of Andersen and Russian River Valley Pinots. Glad to had more bottles on the rack.

Light red, raspberry, some earth tones and even hints of green peppers on the nose and palate.

Newest Pinot Noir from Matt Parish and the first I’ve seen from him out of the Anderson Valley AVA. Very much enjoy his wines and think this will likely get better with age. This felt a bit stringent and definitely needed time to breathe. Strong berry mixture on the nose and palate but decent tannins. My guess is that in another 1-2 years this could start developing into a good wine with years 3-5 getting very good.
