Fills the entire palate. Full bodied. Earthy and herby at first. Dry finish. Babs says bitter. After one night it got fruity for me and a little hot. Not amazing like the reviews. Not sure I’d get it again. Got at auction.

Benefits of tasting on your birthday. Uncorked bottle on Friday and drinking it on Wednesday. Ripe fruit, nice balance, and not "hot" for 15.5% abv. Very drinkable and nice with meat.
