Historically there's just been something about Anderson Valley Pinot that I have not really agreed with. until today. @Shay Aldriedge maybe I was wrong about the RM Anderson Punots. I'm so damn confused........ this one brought its A-game and quite a few awesome substitutes. Bing cherry, black tea and spices. Heavily weighted with a very generous mouth feel. Finish is what this one lacked the most and pretty much the only reason I did not write this a 9.5. I am very glad I bought several of these!

Jan 10th, 2018Hot on open to cinnamon at 30 minutes decanted along with violets, plum, and pomegranate. Paired with lamb burgers on ciabatta with balsamic reduction, pickled red onion and herb goat cheese - balsamic threw off the balance, so would pair with more subtle profiles in the future. Will age the remaining two bottles and see how this one opens up.
