Medium red with a hint of orange developing. Herbal nose. Cherry on the palate with nutty notes. Alcohol medium plus, acidity medium, tannins are of course still quite blunt. This will benefit with age, but I'm wondering if the tertiary flavors will add some complexity--as it stands now it's somewhat one-dimensional, but very good.

So young, so dense and so concentrated. Youthful tannin coats the senses but there's so much dark ripe fruit, minerals, and stone/ash to keep this enjoyable tonight. Amazing. In need of time but bursting at the seams.

This was golden brown in color ... smoothed out tannins .. subdued fruit profile but still excellent

Nov 29th, 2019Such a beautiful wine, really needs some time to show it's true glory. Notes of bright mascerano cherry and cherry liqueur with a feint stalkiness. Molasses, rose and and a desirable musty oak tone coming through late in the piece. The most notable trait being the balance for this wine. One bottle not nearly enough

Very pleasant. Nice nose. Slight chalk bit not too much. Very light red color. Almost like a rose in color. 2010 vintage.
