Got Italy right in our blind but I still fail to see clear varietal distinctions in orange wines. Then again, I don't drink much Italian whites.
This is probably one of the nicest skinsy I've had this year. Clean aromatics with fresh and interesting flavours on the palate. Apricot, orange skin, bruised apple, honey, straw, pepper, ginger, hints of salt. Mouthfeel has a certain rusticity with the tight white tannins and mild VA twang. Enjoyable.
