Super smooth but not missing tannin or acid. Well rounded and drinking well.

Balanced, ever so raisiny, also a little inky licorice, cherry and gelsi. Delightful.

Dark.A little weak fruit on the nose. Cherry tobacco dominates. Red and black fruit with cherry over prune tannins well integrated/subtle good length and mouthful but not as lengthy as better amarone. Borderline like/love

2007 vintage on 20.9.17
Purple red. Already some secondairy tones like forest and mushrooms. However the fruit is still present also. True to type.

Always remember your first love. Masi Costasera was the first bold wine I enjoyed back in college. Long shelf life, save for your richest cheeses, this one stands up!
