Masi
Campofiorin Nectar Angelorum Hominibus Corvina Blend

Deep ruby in color, but leaning towards purple; black cherries, blackberries, and graphite on the nose; high acidity; medium tannins; tastes like tart cherries, crushed gravel, and maybe licorice with a long finish. A little too tart for me (and I like tart wines), but it may need to breath a bit longer.

Reliable producer: this was tasty but didn’t get any Ripassa notes, just a straight forward, dark fruit driven wine. Smooth, built for the international market, no rough edges… nothing wrong with this but uninspired - lacking nuance & complexity
