Grandarella Rosso delle Venezie Refosco

Cherry and plum on the nose. Smooth, tannins have melted. Well structured. Raisin and dried plums on the palate. Fruit still evident. The wine is clearly age worthy.

Great Super Venetian. Pretty dry. Still prefer the Amarone.

Evolved, raisin, a bit too oily....thick texture, makes it a bit heavy on palate

Aromas of raspberry, earth, leather.
Dry. Flavors of cherry, raspberry, vanilla, cola, cinnamon, licorice. Medium-rich, velvety tannins.

The nose is surprisingly sweet, like fruitcake; and this is followed by a bouquet of jam, ending with a peppercorn finish.

After a bit of a breather, quite smooth and round wine, goes well with a range of foods; but lacks a bit in complexity.
