Jammy, star anise. Palate has definitely grown up since the last time I had this. And while it is tasty maybe it isn’t as affecting as prior tastings.
Also probably needs some time in the decanter to soften up a bit.

Rich, dense, perfume of leather, pumpkins, and cinnamon.
Sweet licorice and blackberry compote right at the forefront. Followed by a juicy berry mid palate and a kick of garam masala and red pepper flake spice right as you’re setting the glass down.
A medium to high acidity, a bit much for this composite of flavor profile, but it still works — probably needs a bit of age. Pretty solid overall.
