Lots of fresh fruit — orchard and tropical — jumps out on the nose, along with lots of stony minerals and some sweet hay and floral notes. The pure fruit hits the palate immediately with mouthfilling juiciness. Scent acids and a medium length finish. Grenache Blanc, Maccabeu, Roussanne and Marsanne. This is a terrific pre meal aperitif or apps wine.

Had a glass of this with a small lobster roll at Supernormal. Sadly a little too cold. In colour very pale, water white with a pale yellow hue. I love Rhone whites but this was somewhat restrained. Barb thought a Lily perfume. Delicate soft flavours - a note of pear finishing with a bitter note on the light to medium weight palate. I have had more powerful Rhone whites but the cold temperature doesn’t help.

A blend of Grenache Blanc, Maccabeu, Roussanne, and Marsanne, Mas Amiel crafts a taut white Côtes du Roussillon of precision and and character. Saline and mineral - it captures the salty ocean breeze, alongside tart flavors of lime pith and starfruit. Clean, refreshing, and joyful.
