100% Pommard. Notes of unripe guava on the nose. Nice and lightweight with light color. Hibiscus on the mid palate.

For a Pinot at 16$ outstanding! Dark brooding color. then blackberry earthy undertones on the nose. First sip is complex. Relative high alcohol at 14. 2. High acidity, tannic, dark overripe morello cherry. Heavy for a Pinot but at the prize best Pinot in 2016 so far. It could be 40$. Very French.

Nose was somewhat closed upon opening. Bright, acid, wild strawberries. A tad unconventional compared to other Californian pinots. I'd be curious to see how this ages.
