A few months since our last bottle, notes are still consistent:
95% Sauvignon Blanc & 5% Semillon; Entre-Deux-Mers AOC
Nose of freshly washed sweet, green grapes, lemon grass and green melon.
Palate is crisp, citrus biased, lightly tart not sweet, lime squeezed on granite, medium finish.
$13, QPR is just a crazy value play!

One of the best damn values in light, bright white from Bordeaux. Never disappoints.

Just a perfect mid-week wine with peppery shrimp and linguine.

I liked it, a thicker white, Steph doesn't like it. First retirement wine Wednesday of 2025. $14 a bottle, nice deal!

Definitely like this a lot. I think fresh greens. Well balanced and rounded in the palate. Off dry sort of medium tannins compared to the Sonoma county I had. The more I have the more I like. Maybe even a little white stone fruity. Gravel or stone minerals . Acid doesn’t crush you off the rip
