Not as impressive as my most recent Crianza, but still quite pleasant. I admit that I'm a bit of a sucker for buzz phrases like "estate grown" and "single vineyard," but in most cases they lead to a pretty decent wine. This predominantly Tempranillo blend (with some Merlot, Cab and Syrah rounding things out) has a deep richness to it, while also maintaining a silky smooth mouthfeel. Dark red berries, a touch of rural farm or even malted barley essence to it. I find myself unable to pinpoint every nuance, but that takes nothing away from the enjoyability of the wine.
