So much going on, starting with dark fruit and finishing with minerals, and tons of complexity in between. Love it.

This wine wasn't all that great. Very thin without much character. Very disappointed. Had a little spice but didn't help it all that much.

Wow! This was very much in the style of a northern Rhone, with herby aromas and flavors of bacon fat and minerals. It evolved nicely throughout the evening. What a balance between fruit and herbs! This went amazingly well with rosemary garlic rib eye.

Don't know if it is just the vintage, but this has lost a lot of speed on the fastball. Drinks almost like a thin and hollow RR Pinot. Used to be like candied bacon
