nostalgic #zin harking to the time when huge fruit & port-like alcohol levels were the thing. Hot as balls in lycra at opening but did smooth out after time in #decanter. happy to have shared it with others & not have had to #drink it solo as would equaled hospital trip!

High octane style zin, but certainly not run-of-the-mill. Big and brooding with intense blackberry, bramble, spice. 17.3 alcohol but doesn't feel hot at all. Bring me beef!

Great wine but definitely needs a little aging. A whopping 16.3% abv. Fruit, little bit of spice, honey? On the nose. Pretty jammy, nice red licorice, Burnt sugar, cocoa. Better wines for the money, but was fun
