With on fire order in Thai. Quickest wine i’ve ever drank.

Massively mineral nose. Also honey, pink grapefruit, kumqwat, slate, mineral water, brown butter, sweet bread (challah?) lime zest, peach skin and on and on. So so complex. Palate is ripe and rich with impressive sweetness and energy. Dazzlingly pure and honeyed with a round, creamy mouthfeel and texture. Really dense and elegant as well. Toes that line wonderfully. Juicy and explosive with tiny citrus and stone fruit intensity. Leaves a lovely honeyed palate impression. Awesome mineral intensity in the mid palate and finish.

First what hits you is the texture- so silky smooth, like ice skates. Beautiful golden hay color. Tons of mineral intensity on nose. Star fruit, fennel, pollen, peach skin, yellow apple concentrate. Strong wine for strong food, but paired beautifully with simple roasted whole chicken, roasted potatoes & foraged oyster ‘shrooms from Columbia County (will we ever die?), & Mexican style cole slaw ( heavy on the lime).
