Not thick & syrup-like as some other syrah/shiraz/sirahs can be. I've previously tried the 2009 Martha Clara Syrah and called it the best I'd tried for awhile. This one was enjoyable as well. It seems to me that you can't go wrong with Martha Clara Syrahs.
