Very nice but might slightly prefer the 05 gran reserva. Classic and refined, but not too expressive. Had at dinner at Marques de Riscal.

Josh really likes this one or perhaps the HOTEL. Either way it's a fantastic wine in a perfect location with outstanding meal. Interesting Rioja wine. Blend of Tempranillo and hint of cab sav. In French barrels give it an excellent balance.

Smelled like port and creamy cherries. Mandarin sorbet dessert brought out the citrus peel flavor in it.

Rich fruit (berries). Opened up very nicely. Excellent pairing with the corzo (venison tenderloin).
