This is a NV wine. But I know the bottle I'm drinking is from the very warm 2015 vintage and it is the ripest expression of this wine I have ever experienced. As a result it hardly has any herby, savoury notes that past vintages exhibited. Vibrant deep purple/red. Loads of fruit on the nose with a hint of grape bubblegum and barely a hint of herbs. Juicy fruit. Well balanced sweetness versus cleaning acidity. The most perfect wine with chocolate desserts. Unbelievable with Black Forest Cake.
