Calistoga Estate Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon

Last vintage of the drought, and it really comes through in this wine. Not as extracted as you’d think but perfectly concentrated notes of dried cranberries, vanilla, anise, blackberry, and pencil shavings. Extravagant in the mouth with mature tannins, cocoa raspberry flavors. Love this vineyard. Rugged site produces such pretty wines. Went excellent with our wood fired pizza.
