Great Russian River Valley Pinot Noir, especially after the hour long bottle aeration. The hue is a burnt red. Lots of ripe raspberry on the nose followed by leathery scents. On the pallet it is smooth with “automatic” transitions: red fruit welcoming, outburst of earthiness, the right pinch of acidity, composed tannings and a savory finish. Might be the second glass of the night taking but this is tasting very good.

Had this before and for some reason it didn’t have quite the same flavors. Still good but less berry and fruit on the front and more earth tones.

Very complex pinot noir. Starts with big dark currant fruit tones, and finishes with a nice peppery spice.
