Les Grandes Vignes Touraine Grolleau
Sensory overload taste and smell. Barnyard, thyme, evergreen, tar and a medicinal component. Camphor. Really good bottle. Had a little saved for day 2. Bubble gum.

Apr 30th, 2023A great mixture of zippy acidity and black cherry fruit, with candy-like notes of licorice and red licorice, tea, prickly black pepper and exotic spice, and some wild grassy herbs. Funky and barnyardy on the nose. Light and easy drinking with very little bitterness or tannic influence while still having LOTS of individual character. Fun! Gets a bit sweeter after a two hour decant.

Aug 15th, 2016Grolleau from Touraine. Challenging in the best way possible. Flinty, meaty, cherry, smokey herbs. Light, vibrant, fruity acidity. I could drink this everyday. Another natural wine.
