Not in love. Well made and certainly not lacking in character, just not the type of character I'm into for French. Bright cherry, hint of spice, lingering acidity. A good exercise in wine objectivity for me.

Oganic wine from this recent AOC. Mainly a Syrah/Grenache mix. Dark purple robe and a baked plum nose. In the mouth, plenty of black currant, black berry and liquorice yet a light texture... Surprising balance imo. Paired with cheese pie !
