Nicely rustic. Blend of Barbera (65%) and Croatina - aka Bonarda (35%). Intense aromas of peat and freshly tilled loamy soil with hints of savory spices and dark fruit. Pallet is full of black cherry and black pepper with a touch of noticeable oak. Hint of smoke on the medium finish. Light on the tannins and acidity but well balanced!
