Margerum
M5 Santa Barbara County Red Rhone Blend
Purple rim. This wine is bursting with rich plum notes but still slight hints of dark chocolate and a little spice. Really good with wine but not sure how it would be alone.

Jul 23rd, 2015Owner Doug Margerum and winemaker Doug "Scotty" Scott, craft world-class wine working with the top vineyards in Santa Barbara County to produce small lots of premium wines. Vivid Ruby with dark fruit and floral aromas with complex spice. On the palate plum, cherry and raspberry flavors with lively acidity. The finish brings notes of cacao, espresso and earthy minerality on a lingering ending. Nice value.

Mar 23rd, 2017An intriguing 5 grape blend that gives a complex experience. It starts with dark fruit flavor, followed by spicy tones (black pepper at its highest point), and finished with citrus hints of grapefruit. A little too complex, but not bad.
