When oxygen is built in versus happening after the fact. Great food wine.

Apr 14th, 2015Normally I like this but I waited a bit too long and it's getting a bit old. Still not as oxidized as the other one I opened a couple days ago.

Jun 1st, 2016Following a cava, this was flat. With roast chicken, it was honeyed beauty.

Jan 28th, 2016Ok, opened this a few nights ago and it was the first in several weeks of opening several capolemole and Moro wines that was not prematurely oxidized. 2012 vintage. I was so happy, and even after a couple night in the fridge (had no choice) it was still enjoyable. This is how I expected these to be. Not sure what caused early oxidation, maybe the corks, but there's still potential with these.

Sep 20th, 2015Among the shining stars of winemaking in Lazio, Carpineti has a real winner here. Herbaceous notes and a clean finish....a surprising wine at a great cost!
