Bourgogne Aligoté
Pretty good though a little understated. Closer to room temp, shows some tangy mineral spice. Just not much glycerin in the mid-palate. Good for a change of pace and for featuring the food over the wine.

May 20th, 2022Great white burg at this price point. Great acidity from the slightest but it felt like the vintage gave it a lot of fruit as well.

Apr 14th, 2019How is this possible at $24. Well, if you inherit the land you reduce cost. This is even better that the 2012 Vintage I had in 2016. “This is masterfully crafted white burgundy sourced from naturally farmed 70-year-old vines”- Ian Cauble SommSelect.

Jul 21st, 2018Outrageously good for only $22. This wine single handedly showcases Aligote. Organic, wonderful minerality. Decant for 30 minutes. Why are my wine ratings consistently high? It's because almost everything I've been drinking is recommended by master sommelier Ian Cauble at sommselect.com and his selections are amazing.
