100% Albariño from Galicia. Pale straw color. Mainly grapefruit on the nose with a saline scent. On the mouthfeel: crisp citrus zesty flavors with slightly saline acidity. A cool sea breeze in a glass! Absolute freshness, impressive and perfect for summer.

With Amalia on Day 7 of Isolation - eating Tom Kerridge pea, ham and chicken pasta. However, we had spinach and ricotta pasta instead.

I am a big fan of albariños. I have surrendered to this amazing variety years ago. Galicia has master every single and possible angle of this refreshing, complex, fruity, elegant, sophisticated, delicate, delicatessen from the North ... And even after all this years, now and then, I run into something that blow my mind.
The main characteristics are there: fresh, light to medium, fruity ( peach, pomegranate, apricot ) with a generous mouthful of saline, floral notes but suddenly goes intro this long mineral citrusy party that I quite frankly didn’t expect ! ... What can I say : Superb !... Next level... Holly%^%! ... Pairs to perfection with seafood but will complement ANY bird, rice, veal or even lamb or just enjoy by itself ! Always welcome surprises when they are masterfully done and this is the case ... 👏🏻👏🏻
