Round 2....much better 24hrs later. Give this as much air as possible! Much bolder with more of a French influence. Lots of earth, terroir, and minerals. Still not much fruit. Pretty finish than last night as well, so revising up 3pts.

Oct 29th, 2017Needs air as there is a decent amount of funk and bite without it. Modest nose, which may indicate this is fading fast. Not much fruit, more spice, tobacco, and slate in the body. Rather short, high OH finish.
