Excellent, balanced, and accessible. Has nice dry grass, strawberry, and hints of citrus flavors. Quite enjoyable.

Mangels Vineyard - 2012 Caora (43% Graciano, 37% Grenache, 20% Tempranillo)

Basque inspired blend from Mangles Vineyard in Suisun, CA. Fantastic Autumnal pour.

Fruit spectrum is hard to convey, but, in the brick red range, dried cranberry & cherry, whiskey preserved black cherry, tannic skin from Arkansas Black Apple...the body & weight is where you will notice the fruitiness, not so much on the palette, med+ acidity helps keep things slimmer. Deeper darker notes have an earthy, cocoa nib, smokey savoriness. Delicious sipper on its own, also pairs magically with Lahmacun and autumnal grilled veg. Drink now.

Additional Foodie thought - With a twist of orange rind, this could make an exciting Autumn Sangria.
