Surprisingly drinkable already. Loads of black currant on the nose and palate. Good balance between oak and tannin, pleasant acidity. Definitely some Merlot in this.

Maybe my biggest surprise of the Mandolin lineup. Its core of blackberry is accented by bright blue fruits and silky tannins. Quite drinkable. This wine's reliance on fruit purity and not barrel flavors is refreshing.
