Very deep inky purple colour with herbs, a little blackcurrant and some tobacco on the nose. Smooth with a little acidity but not rounded. A little white pepper and almost pomegranate to the taste but a little underpowered for my taste - closer to an old world Rhone Syrah than a new world pokey Shiraz. Pleasant but nothing special.
