Crunchy and spicy, with just ripe berries and a chalky mineral finish. Tasty youngster that will be even better in a year or two. Pretty awesome value from Nicolas Potel.

Session 2 of Wine Essentials One at the Institute of Culinary Education Center for Wine Studies.
Slightly brown color with tinges of brick creeping in. Fresh, light red on the eye. Plum and sour cherry on the nose. I also detect slightly funky aromas of tomato, earth, and dried herbs. There is a woodsy forest floor quality to the smell as well. Slight tannins with a light-medium body and cherry flavors.
