Cotton candy and floral nose. Some crisp pear, then powerful lemon and oak in equal parts, then nice grapefruit and very slightly minty finish. Don’t like this style very much but can appreciate it.

Chardonnay sourced from several plots in the village of Saint Romain. Fermented and aged for 12 months in neutral oak barrels (10% new). Elegant, mineral, good structure. One of the highlights from La Paulée Off the Grid
