Big French fruit bomb. Not complex. Chuggable.

I mean it’s fine. Only use for a dessert wine. Separately, it paired very nicely with TJ’s creamy Toscano with Syrah.

Color of dark purple, almost inky. Nose of oak, vanilla, coke cola, and sweet strawberry or cherry. Taste follows the nose with addition of right amount of tannins, sweet, a bit zesty and bitter rind to balance it. Some more oak and vanilla flavors. Aftertaste is medium long and clean with more sweet ripe grapes. Too sweet for me but a crowd pleaser.

Wasn’t crazy about maybe it would be better with food instead on its own.

For $5 this is one of the greatest QPR's ever. Current 2017 vintage is now out of stock. Praying to the God's that it returns next year with an equally delicious vintage. Fairly balanced leaning towards medium fruits and minimal tannins and no harsh bites of alcohol.

Good wine but it lacks complexity. Too used to Chilean wine!

If you like Manischewitz this is the wine for you. So sweet I had to mix it with soda water to drink.
