Ok let's see.... first of all this does not taste like a CDP..... the nose comes through more like a port with exaggerated fruit minus the alcohol (which is actually decently hidden for 14.5). Otherwise, too much oak, too much fruit, like the grapes were sent to California to be made into a napa cab or Zin. It's a decent wine for what it is, but should not be labeled as a CDP as no other CDP will taste like this.
