Dark black cherry and a touch of white pepper to go w a slight vegetal green pepper that dissipated as the wine opened. Tons of wood notes—could literally taste the barrel it was aged in. Nice acidity and light smooth tannins. A beautiful wine thats coming into its drinking window now!
