Had the absolute pleasure of tasting this very unique Macallan. The Edition no.1 is aged in 8 different american and french casks. Initially, a very rich nose of vanilla spices and burnt caramel, cedar, and an intense warmth on the pallet that evolves into all spice, and cinnamon, and a very smooth finish that lingers for a good 5 minutes. Gotta hand it to them. It's fantastic and definitely worth $75.
