Had a glass at the winery and it tasted good enough to buy a bottle and bring home. So … at home , it pours a deep ruby color. Aroma of red raspberry and berries and a hint of smoke? . Cherries and raspberries in the middle with a dry pucker at the finish.

When in Rome do as the Romans err when in Geneva Ohio drink what they grow here in wine country. The lady said this is dry. Hardly but will help pass time between swim events plus it's raining.

First had this on my trip home to Cleveland over Thanksgiving. Tasted much better when I had it there but not bad overall. Nice to try a varietal which is growing in Ohio.
