Lynfred Winery
American Cabernet Franc
1st day opened thete wasn't a lot of pyrazines. 3rd day pyrazines definitely showed. Cooked fruit, prunes black olives on nose. Lovely texture with balanced tannins. Nice acidity, dark stone fruit on palate. Great example of Cabernet Franc.

Oct 7th, 2017Too peppery for me. Has some of the 2014 Carmenere that turned very peppery after a couple of years. Friends loved it, though.

Oct 19th, 2015Excellent wine to pair with meats. I'm actually having it after dinner and it taste great alone. Wish it was warm enough to be sitting out on my balcony right now. Light oaky. Definitely warns you up with the peppery finish.
