Plum and mild pepper on the nose, very dry on the palate, medium bodied with lots of tannins that would go really well with a juicy fatty steak. Mild clean finish just right to take the next bite of meat. Not one for casual drinking though. I’d rate it higher if it had a punch of unexpected flavour, a bit of surprise. But nah! It’s very predictable.
