Ripe fruit on the nose, somewhat a fragrance of semi dried fruit like apricots and sultanas. Mild to no tannins, medium to full bodied, has a sweetness akin to naturally dried fruits, which is not at all overpowering. This could be food! I wouldn’t waste it to accompany food, but will let food accompany the wine. Go for full flavored robust cheddars, pasta and pizza with tomato based sauce, or a hearty minestrone. Aptly named after a pastry Currant Bun. Imagine hot cross buns with sultanas or raisins. — 5 years ago
Plum on the nose, burst of ripe fruit on the palate, dry with mild tannins, long dry clean finish. A good drink by itself or with flavorful fatty foods. — 5 years ago
This was excellent on day one. It it was just a semi-sweet liquid the next day and the day after. We hardly every finish a bottle in a day. Most wine that we get lasts a few days without losing much nose or palate. Except this Pinot Noir. This one is not for us. — 5 years ago
Fruity nose, good amount of tannins that surprise the palate, with jammy sweetness that lasts just long enough, but not too long, bringing the dry tannins back. That’s the finish, dry with a remembrance of jam sandwich. Great for day drinking on a sunny day, I say! — 5 years ago
Plum and mild pepper on the nose, very dry on the palate, medium bodied with lots of tannins that would go really well with a juicy fatty steak. Mild clean finish just right to take the next bite of meat. Not one for casual drinking though. I’d rate it higher if it had a punch of unexpected flavour, a bit of surprise. But nah! It’s very predictable. — 5 years ago
Fruity nose, burst of plum on the palate with not a lot of tannins. More sweet than dry with a medium to full body and a medium finish. Would be suitable for a pizza or hearty tomato based pasta with meat. — 5 years ago
Fruity and flowery bouquet with fragrance of raisins still moist. Mild to strong tannins with a fruity touch and a hint of acidity that sparkles through. Dry finish. A good wine to drink by itself. — 5 years ago
Roasted spice and dark cherries on the nose, mildly spicy on the palate, smokey, round and medium to full bodied, good strong tannins that last the finish with spice. Great to drink alone, with matured hard cheese or with mildly spicy meals. Love it! — 5 years ago
Spice on the nose, full bodied plum goodness, mild tannins, dry and earthy. Definitely a sipping wine for those thoughtful afternoons. No food necessary to enjoy. — 5 years ago

I’d love to tell how this wine is on the nose, but I don’t think I can smell anything today. On the palate though, this is dry with medium tannins. It has a burst of sweet fruit with just a slight tang that cuts through. The finish is long and semi-dry, that is there’s a bit of that sweet fruit that lingers on. Not something I would go out and seek, but certainly not avoid either. — 5 years ago
