On promo for $39 at CS. Can taste the sour cherry, sour jammy dark fruits, a slight herbaceousness (green peppercorn). Nice when chilled. But must drink quickly, the minerally bitterness is more pronounced when it sits out. Medium bodied, high acidity, a hint of coffee like tannins.

I like how carmenere is a good alternative if you like merlot but don't want to look like a basic bitch.
