Fruit forward cherry, and vanilla. Real smooth, and fruity without being overly sweet. CM liked too.

Apr 8th, 2019Big fan of this medium body red. A bit more mellow than the last vintage I tried, but still dangerously drinkable. 👌

Jul 21st, 2018My first (knowing) encounter with the Triomphe d'Alsace grape. The wine has a beautiful dark purple colour. Medium body, with vanilla and a little tobacco on the nose. Berry and plum on the palate, with lots of vanilla from the oak. The wine was aged in French oak, but I would have guessed American because of the creamy vanilla flavour.
Very cool that a red wine of this quality is being produced in Nova Scotia.
