Herbacious. Ruby red color. Heavy dark fruits. Slightly oaked. Yet light bodied. Very rich, almost too sweet.

Earth and structure. The bottle age makes it--a couple years younger wouldn't have liked as much. But it has all come together. My kind of wine.

We drank this with a duck breast and baked beetroot. Exceptional, will seek out some earlier vintages!

Enjoyable easy to drink wine with our meal at chez l'ami jean. Not very complex. Earthy.
