A beautiful pale gold color with an adequate amount of small bubbles. Vivid grapefruit starts the party on the nose with apricots coming along. A little lemon peel and Granny Smith apple rounds the aromas out. This Cremant is literally everywhere and it’s cheap. But it’s still a quality sparkler and honestly better than some of the big boys. Noticeably dry with very crisp acidity, it’s a full and rich sparkler. The 100% Pinot Blanc but more substantial than you may think. The palate follows the nose with more grapefruit and lemon zest, along with hints of cinnamon and toasted nuts. The customary brioche bread is outstanding here. Plenty of cream on the finish. Don’t worry about the price, this is good stuff.
