Not my favorite. I’m not sure whether it simply aged poorly or if it just isn’t my taste. It’s very dark, with leather notes. It has quite a bite as well.

Another one of my favorite Virginia wines - fruit forward with nice complexity in the finish. Each vintage more impressive than the last. Merlot and Pinotage.
