Stunning varietal expression with an even better “how’d that happen” story. Couple that w/ a legit RSA winemaker/vineyard-manager and you have a solid 90+ BOMB! Taste = Rhône Syrah meets Northern Tip Burg Pinot. Best part is the price: $20 at Wegs! More please!! — 6 years ago

My previous bottles were from the 2011 vintage. This was a decent year for ripening and Riann made good use of round CF and Merlot profiles. Suprising balance with this one - acid and tannin were countered by even fruit distribution from entry to finish. I will probably grab another from Greenwood Market. Good value at 24$. — 7 years ago

I am a real fan of the folks making this refined build. They have intentionally crafted a mild, round, feminine-style Franc by using an Italian steam-bent cask. The benefits of oak aeration without taking on the toast/caramel notes. 20$ super value! Pure and clean, taste the terroir with this one!! — 6 years ago
