Arbin Mondeuse

Big wine for 12.5% alcohol. High tannins, decent acid. Needs time.

Took two days to open

As good as #Mondeuse gets, or better. Vibrant cherries on dry stone. Still young!

Reminds me of Beaujolais, Burgundy and Syrah all at the same time. Great stuff. Imported by Neal Rosenthal.

Great value and really enjoyable.

Big and aggressively musky on the nose. Smells like someone or something needs a bath. On the palate there is a surprising amount of fruit and sweetness, like a strawberry syrup mixed with a bit of basil and cream. Medium bodied. The slightly candied fruit notes mixed with dry stone is redolent of a Cab Franc. I like this one.

This French wine was excellent! Light but dry and crisp with slight fruitiness. Made from the grape that grandfathered Syrah(according to the Sommelier)
